FDA Recalls Cottage Cheese Across 24 States

Great Value cottage cheese has been recalled from Walmart stores across 24 states due to concerns that the products may contain liquid dairy ingredients that have not been fully pasteurized.
This poses a risk of illness, although no related illnesses have been reported to date.
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced the recall, urging consumers to check their refrigerators for the affected items.
The recalled products, produced by Saputo Cheese USA Inc. (SUSA) under the Great Value brand name, were sold between February 17 and February 20, 2026.

Walmart shoppers who have purchased any of these recalled products should not consume them.
Instead, the items should either be discarded or returned to a Walmart store for a full refund.
