Five BRVM Stocks Recorded Notable Gains as NEI-CEDA Leads Recent Movers
The BRVM stock market is buzzing with activity, showing significant gains across five major companies as of August 10, 2026. NEI-CEDA led with a remarkable +69.66% surge over 180 days, while Bank of Africa also posted a strong +35.12% increase. These performances highlight dynamic investment opportunities in West African markets.
Five companies listed on the Bourse Régionale des Valeurs Mobilières (BRVM) recorded notable gains in recent trading periods, with NEI-CEDA Côte d'Ivoire posting the largest increase among the stocks highlighted in a new market report.
The figures, published by Daba Finance in its August 10 BRVM market report, cover different periods, ranging from seven days to 180 days.
NEI-CEDA (NEIC) recorded the biggest increase, gaining 69.66% over 180 days to trade at XOF 2,265.
Bank of Africa Côte d'Ivoire (BOAC) followed with a 35.12% gain over 90 days, with its shares trading at XOF 11,600.
Three other stocks also moved higher
Three other companies recorded gains over the seven-day period covered by the report.
Filtisac Côte d'Ivoire (FTSC) rose 11.78% to XOF 2,135, while Unilever Côte d'Ivoire (UNLC) gained 7.01% to XOF 54,595.
SAPH Côte d'Ivoire (SPHC) increased by 5.33% to XOF 7,900.
The five stocks come from different parts of the Ivorian economy, including financial services, manufacturing and consumer goods.
The BRVM's official market data provides daily prices and trading information for companies listed on the regional exchange.
The gains do not tell the whole market story
The figures show strong movements in these five stocks, but they should not be treated as a snapshot of the entire BRVM.
The periods are also different. NEI-CEDA's 69.66% increase covers six months, Bank of Africa Côte d'Ivoire's covers 90 days, while the other three figures cover only seven days.
That makes direct comparisons difficult. A stock's recent price increase also does not, by itself, explain why its price moved or indicate that the gain will continue.
For investors watching West Africa's regional exchange, however, the figures offer a useful look at some of the stocks that have recently attracted market attention.
