Senate Demands Accountability Over Missing N210trn Funds, Summons NNPCL Boss

The Senate Committee on Public Accounts has issued a decisive mandate to the management of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), stipulating April 29, 2026, as the strict deadline for their appearance. The purpose of this summons is to address a colossal N210 trillion that remains unaccounted for, as meticulously detailed in audit reports spanning from 2017 to 2023.

The committee explicitly directed that Engineer Bayo Ojulari, the incumbent Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of NNPCL, must lead the delegation.
