Bloodbath in Brixton: Drive-by Shooting Leaves Four Hospitalized, Police Probe 'Indiscriminate Violence'

A drive-by shooting in Brixton, South London, on Saturday morning left four people hospitalized, with police branding it “an act of indiscriminate violence.” Shots were fired from a car in the early hours on Coldharbour Lane, an area witnesses described as “packed” due to a barbecue party.

One 25-year-old man sustained life-threatening injuries and remains in critical condition. DCI Allam Bhangoo, who is leading the investigation, emphasized the police's commitment, stating, “We understand how concerning this incident will be for the local community and want to reassure residents that officers are working at pace to identify those responsible.” He reiterated that the force “will work relentlessly to bring the suspects to justice.”

Witness Robert, 40, a resident of the Southwyck House estate on Coldharbour Lane, noted that the area is usually
