BBNaija Shockwave: Cassi Evicted, Abi Emerges as New Power Player
Cassi, a Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate, has been evicted after receiving the lowest audience votes during the fourth week of the "Show Ya Sef" season. His departure marks the fourth eviction, while Abi emerged as the Most Influential Player and Head of House, navigating new twists, including nominating her own team members. The season, which premiered on July 26, continues with its strategic twists and the pursuit of the N160 million grand prize.
The fourth week of Big Brother Naija Season 11, themed “Show Ya Sef,” saw Cassi, real name Ezenwoke Nwosu, evicted after receiving 5.27 per cent of the audience votes. The entrepreneur, actor, realtor, model and forex trader, who entered the show as the 24th and final housemate, became the fourth contestant to leave the house after Martins, Mercedes and Kamsy, while Neche had voluntarily exited the competition the previous week due to personal reasons.
Cassi had been among eight housemates nominated for eviction alongside Araga, Gerard, Goddessa, Nomy, Temi Nkem, Tram and Yusuf, despite winning the Week Four Arena Games and performing strongly in several tasks.
Meanwhile, Abi emerged as the Most Influential Player of the week after defeating Chimsom Chuka in the final “Copy and Paste” Head of House challenge. Biggie subsequently handed her the power to nominate three members of her own winning team for possible eviction, leading Abi to select Aikou, Araga and Yusuf after discussions during Conspiracy Hour.
Her decision significantly reshaped the nomination dynamics and marked another week of female dominance in the Head of House position, while Chimsom, as runner-up, secured immunity from nominations.
Week Four featured several changes to the usual nomination structure, including Biggie's decision to strip Abi's team of its immunity and require her to nominate members of her own group. The week also witnessed tensions among housemates, developing romantic interests, and a ₦5 million deduction from the prize money following repeated rule violations.
With Cassi's eviction and Abi's growing influence, the competition now moves into its fifth week with the remaining housemates facing increasingly complex strategic battles.
