James Gunn's highly anticipated DC follow-up, "Man of Tomorrow," has received significant casting updates, building on the success of its predecessor, 2025's "Superman." The project, first announced in 2025, will not only bring back familiar faces but also introduce new talent to Gunn's expanding superpowered cinematic universe, with the film slated for release on July 9, 2027.

The central conflict of "Man of Tomorrow" will see David Corenswet's Superman and Nicholas Hoult's Lex Luthor forming an unlikely alliance to confront a formidable new threat: Brainiac, portrayed by Lars Eidinger. The cast is further bolstered by several new additions. Sinqua Walls has been cast in an undisclosed role. Walls brings experience from various projects, including "Once Upon A Time" as Sir Lancelot, "Teen Wolf" as Vernon Boyd, and most recently, "Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist" as McKinley 'Mac' Rogers, alongside appearances in "Grey's Anatomy" and "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation." Other new actors joining the DC universe in "Man of Tomorrow" with undisclosed roles include Adria Arjona, Andre Royo, and Matthew Lillard. Arjona is notably rumored to play the comic anti-heroine, Maxima.
