Legal Drama: Trespasser Nabbed Trying to Serve Taylor Swift Papers

A man identified as Justin Lee Fisher, 48, was reportedly arrested for criminal trespassing after allegedly jumping the fence of Travis Kelce’shome in Kansas Cityon September 15, 2025. The incident, which occurred shortly after 2 a.m., was reportedly an attempt to serve pop superstar Taylor Swift with deposition papers on behalf of actor Justin Baldoni. Both Swift and her fiancé, Travis Kelce, were believed to be at home during the time of the alleged offense, according to reports by People. The Leawood Police Department also recorded two other individuals, Drew Bossi and Laura Baker, for criminal trespass property at Kelce's residence around the same time.

Leawood Police Captain Jason Ahringconfirmed the incident to Billboard via email, stating, “On September 15, 2025, shortly after 2AM, Leawood, Kansas police officers were dispatched to a private gated neighborhood in the 11600 block of Pawnee Lane to investigate a trespassing incident. Officers arrived and contacted an adult male within the gated community. The male was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of criminal trespassing and released after posting bond.” Ahring further noted that he could not control what other media outlets release regarding investigative information, while maintaining consistency with the department's official statement.

This trespassing development is linked to an ongoing and contentious legal dispute between Justin Baldoni and his former 'It Ends With Us' collaborator, actress Blake Lively. Lively initiated a lawsuit against Baldoni last year, alleging harassment on set and a subsequent smear campaign targeting her reputation post-filming. Baldoni's attempt to countersue Lively for defamation was dismissed by a judge, with Lively's original lawsuit now slated to proceed to trial in 2026.

Throughout this litigation, Baldoni has made multiple attempts to involve Taylor Swift, whose long-standing friendship with Lively is well-known. In his initial countersuit filing, Baldoni claimed, without directly naming Swift, that Lively had leveraged her famous friend's influence to pressure him into accepting her creative decisions for 'It Ends With Us'. A judge granted Baldoni’s legal team’s request in June for text messages between Swift and Lively to be presented as evidence in court.

However, a separate request by Baldoni to depose Swift in the case was denied by a judge on September 12. The incident at Travis Kelce's home underscores the intensified efforts to involve Taylor Swift in the complex legal proceedings between Baldoni and Lively, highlighting the broader implications of celebrity influence and privacy amidst high-profile legal battles.
