K-Pop Sensation YEONJUN's 'NO LABELS' Storms to Top Album Sales Debut!

The latest Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart, dated November 22, showcases a vibrant week for album sales, with several new entries and significant movements among established artists. This chart meticulously ranks the top-selling albums based solely on traditional album sales, a methodology that has been in place since its inception on May 25, 1991, when Billboard began utilizing electronically monitored piece count information from SoundScan, now Luminate. It's noteworthy that pure album sales were the exclusive measurement for the Billboard 200 albums chart until December 6, 2014, after which the Billboard 200 adopted a blended methodology incorporating track equivalent album (TEA) units and streaming equivalent album (SEA) units, a practice not used for the Top Album Sales chart.
Leading this week's chart is YEONJUN, a prominent member of TOMORROW X TOGETHER, whose debut solo project "NO LABELS: PART 01" immediately claimed the No. 1 spot. The album achieved impressive sales figures, moving 27,000 copies in the United States during the week ending November 13, according to Luminate data, marking a significant milestone for the artist's solo career.
The top 10 also saw strong performances from several other artists. Hayley Williams' "Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party" made a remarkable leap from No. 18 to No. 2, following its wide release on physical formats. This surge resulted in sales exceeding 22,000 copies, marking the best sales week ever for a solo project from Williams. Similarly, ROSALÍA celebrated her best sales week with the No. 3 debut of her album "LUX," which sold 19,000 copies.
Continuing its strong presence, Taylor Swift's "The Life of a Showgirl" held steady at No. 4, selling nearly 19,000 copies, an increase of 7% from the previous week. Stray Kids’ former leader, KARMA, also saw an upward trend, climbing from No. 7 to No. 5 with 13,000 copies sold, reflecting a 39% increase. Meanwhile, "The KPop Demon Hunters" soundtrack slipped slightly from No. 5 to No. 6, recording nearly 13,000 sales, a 6% decrease.
New entries continued to make an impact with sombr's "I Barely Know Her" debuting at No. 7. The album, which originally launched as a digital download and via streaming services on August 22, saw its physical release propel it into the top 10 with 11,000 units sold. Furthermore, the new Wings anthology compilation, simply titled "WINGS," soared onto the chart at No. 8, selling a little over 10,000 copies.
Rounding out the top positions, Tyler, The Creator's former No. 1 album "CHROMAKOPIA" experienced a drop from No. 2 to No. 9, with sales of 10,000 copies, a 75% decrease. Finally, the timeless "A Charlie Brown Christmas" soundtrack by Vince Guaraldi Trio remained a consistent performer, staying at No. 10 with 9,000 copies sold, marking a healthy 37% increase in sales.
