This time, the spotlight is on Joseph Mutua, a Kenyan man who moved thousands after he went live on social media while auctioneers repossessed his household belongings.
What stunned many was not just the gut-wrenching scene of his couches being dragged out, but rather, it was his mood.
Through it all, Mutua remained surprisingly optimistic.
"Good things are coming," he said calmly in the middle of the chaos, words that would later tug at the hearts of Kenyans online.
Mutua's story soon landed on Eric Omondi’s radar. The comedian paid Mutua a personal visit at the very house where his belongings had been auctioned.
Through his Team Sisi kwa Sisi charity initiative, Eric documented the visit and made an emotional appeal to well-wishers.
“Yaani ako rock bottom but tutamuinua. Jamaa hana hata food but God ni nani?” Eric wrote.
He revealed that among the seized items were vital work tools Mutua used in his swimming pool construction company, a business that not only sustained him but also supported several other families.
What moved Eric the most, he said, was Mutua’s appeal, not for handouts, but for work to help himself and those he works with.
Eric shared Mutua’s phone number and urged people to contribute whatever they could to help him bounce back.
In response to the kind gestures, a humbled Mutua said:
“Thank you so much Kenyans. Our company puts food on the table for many families. If I’m going through this, imagine what the people I employ are going through. Such situations even push people into crime, but just give us jobs, and we’ll impress you.”

"Dude Is Just Focused to Work. Jamaa Anataka Tu Kazi."
"I love the way he is asking for kazi and not money inspite ya kuwa amepata platform ya kuomba hela keep it up bro."
"uwanja moja safi but God will come through."
"Power of the tongue! “Good things are coming."
"May the auction be a blessing in disguise for him.He has a resilient spirit."

Earlier, the comedian extended his support to a grieving family in Siaya after a suspected arson attack claimed nine lives.
Eric Omondi made a passionate plea online, urging Kenyans to come together and help Leonard's family.
He later shared an update, revealing they had managed to raise nearly KSh 500,000, though the family was still short of their KSh 1.5 million target needed to cover funeral costs.
