Eighth-ranked USK Praha (10-25) was very close to win a game against sixth ranked Usti n/Labem (20-15) in Usti nad Labem on Sunday.

Usti n/Labem managed to secure only three-point victory 75-72. However their fans expected easier game. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Lesley Varner Jr (201-1998, college: UTRGV) who helped to win the game recording 19 points. His fellow American import guard Kris Martin (194-1997, college: Colorado St., agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 10 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Canadian guard Jaden Campbell (195-2000, college: Samford) answered with 17 points and 6 rebounds for USK Praha. Usti n/Labem moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Decin. USK Praha at the other side keeps the eighth position with 25 games lost. Usti n/Labem is looking forward to face higher ranked Brno (#4) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. USK Praha will play against Decin (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Very important is a road loss of third ranked Srsni Pisek (21-13) against sixth ranked Decin (20-15) on Saturday night. Visiting Srsni Pisek was defeated by Decin in a tough game in Decin 106-114. American swingman Jaden Dewar-Edwards (198-1999, college: Humboldt St.) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and Omotayo Ogundiran chipped in 24 points. At the losing side the former international center Martin Svoboda (201-2001) responded with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 13 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Decin moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Usti n/Labem. Srsni Pisek lost third consecutive game. They keep the third position with 13 games lost. They share it with Brno. Decin will play against USK Praha (#8) on the road in the next round. Srsni Pisek will play against Olomoucko (#7) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
An interesting game for Nymburk (30-3) which hosted in Nymburk 3rd placed Brno (21-13). First ranked Nymburk had an easy win 105-90. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Brno. JT Shumate nailed 17 points for the winning side. Jordan Brown came up with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for Brno in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Nymburk have a solid series of four victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 30-3 record. Loser Brno keeps the third position with 13 games lost. They share it with Srsni Pisek. Nymburk will meet league's second-placed Opava on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Brno will play against Usti n/Labem and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Other games in round 13 were not that significant. Opava beat Olomoucko on the road 92-87. Slavia lost to Pardubice on its own court 81-95. Bottom-ranked J.Hradec unfortunately lost to NH Ostrava in a road game 84-100.
The most impressive performance of 13th round was 16 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals by LaQuincy Rideau of NH Ostrava.

Nymburk - Brno 105-90

An interesting game for Nymburk (30-3) which hosted in Nymburk 3rd placed Brno (21-13). First ranked
