Tuface Idibia Marriage Scandal Erupts: Cryptic Messages, Public Opinion, and New Wife Drama

Nigerian music icon 2Face Idibia, popularly known as Tuface, has recently been at the center of multiple controversies, most notably a public altercation in London involving his current partner, Natasha Osawaru. This incident, which reportedly saw Tuface taken away in handcuffs, has ignited widespread discussion across social media platforms and among those connected to the singer.
Following the emergence of videos depicting the London scuffle, Tuface later participated in a live video session hosted by Daddy Freeze, where his former managers were discussing his relationship dynamics. However, the session was disrupted by a visible commotion in the background, where his wife, Natasha, was seen apparently attempting to control him. These dramatic events quickly garnered significant public attention and sparked various reactions.
In response to these developments, Annie Idibia, Tuface's former wife, shared a series of cryptic messages on her Instagram stories. While not directly referencing the incidents, her posts appeared to touch upon themes of self-worth, disengagement, and divine providence. One particularly noteworthy post read: "Sometimes, trying to prove that you are the best is an insult." Another post featured an image of burning matchsticks, with one being carefully moved away to prevent a larger fire, accompanied by the caption: "The power of stepping away." She also shared messages emphasizing that God's plan is superior to her own and the importance of letting go of the past. Additionally, Annie posted a video that highlighted Lionel Messi's reputation as a responsible man due to his respectful distance from other women, subtly drawing a contrast with Tuface's public conduct. Annie and Tuface were married in 2012. However, earlier this year, after nearly 13 years of marriage, Tuface publicly announced their separation online and subsequently began flaunting his relationship with Natasha.
The ongoing drama also saw a social media user named Andy Umaru, who had previously lauded Tuface's marriage to Natasha as a sign of "men healing" by choosing "high value well Qualified women," express profound regret. Umaru, who had criticized Annie Macaulay as "not emotionally intelligent" and disrespectful to Tuface in a post on February 12, 2025, found himself targeted by online trolls after the altercation videos surfaced. He later posted: "I no go ever put my mouth for Man & Woman matter again. 2face and Natasha have put me in the Mud, them dey laugh me now. Fear Women guys, fear Women," retracting his earlier endorsement.
Further complicating the narrative, Mariam Leo DaSilva, the wife of reality TV star Leo DaSilva, openly criticized Tuface, labeling him a "mumu" and urging the public not to feel pity for him. Her comments were made in light of shocking revelations shared on Monday, December 1, by Tuface's former manager, Kaka Igbokwe. Igbokwe alleged that Tuface was involved in a "toxic" relationship with Natasha, whom he described as "v!olent" towards the singer, claiming Tuface constantly lived in fear. Kaka Igbokwe further alleged that the couple engaged in dr#g abuse and were in need of rehabilitation and therapy, painting a distressing picture of their union.
