Tottenham Rallies Around Star Defender Destiny Udogie Amid Shocking Gun Threat Allegations!
Tottenham Hotspur has confirmed it is providing support to its defender Destiny Udogie following an incident in north London where the 22-year-old Italy international was allegedly threatened with a gun. The club stated that they have been supporting Udogie and his family since the incident and will continue to do so, but could not comment further as it is an ongoing legal matter.
The Metropolitan Police have launched an investigation into the alleged incident. Officers were called at 11:14 p.m. on September 6 to reports that a man in his 20s had been threatened with a gun in Cockfosters Parade, Barnet. During the course of their investigation, it was also reported that another man, also in his 20s, had allegedly been blackmailed and threatened by the same individual. No injuries were reported in either incident.
A 31-year-old man was subsequently arrested on September 8 on suspicion of possession of firearms with intent, blackmail, and driving without a licence. He has since been bailed while police inquiries continue.
