Top US Exchange Hints at Major 'XRP-Coded' Week

The prominent US cryptocurrency exchange Gemini has indicated that the upcoming week will be marked by significant XRP-related activity, as hinted in a social media post on November 2, 2025, stating, "Next week's looking real XRP coded." This announcement is widely believed to be in anticipation of the highly anticipated Ripple Swell event, scheduled to take place on November 4-5 in New York.
The two-day Ripple Swell conference is set to cover a range of critical topics shaping the digital asset landscape. Discussions will primarily focus on stablecoins, the burgeoning field of real-world asset (RWA) tokenization, the increasing institutional adoption of cryptocurrencies, and other pertinent issues within the blockchain ecosystem. The event boasts an impressive lineup of speakers, including Adena Friedman, Chief Executive Officer at Nasdaq; Maxwell Stein, Director of Global Assets at BlackRock; and Patrick Witt, a key US government official specializing in digital assets.
Despite the high-profile nature of the event and its esteemed speakers, the prospect of a substantial XRP price surge as a direct result of Swell is considered unlikely by many market observers. Historically, Ripple Swell events were known to trigger significant rallies in XRP's value. However, this trend has not continued over the past several years, as traders now hold a more cautious outlook, largely due to the perception that the event may no longer deliver the kind of blockbuster announcements that would warrant aggressive bullish bets.
Gemini's current embrace of XRP marks a significant shift from its past stance. The exchange's founders, the Winklevoss twins, were previously at odds with the XRP community due to Gemini's initial reluctance to list the popular altcoin. This changed significantly after Ripple emerged victorious in its closely watched legal battle with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Following this landmark decision, Gemini not only relisted XRP in August 2023 but also further strengthened its relationship with the Ripple ecosystem by introducing an XRP-branded card earlier this year, a collaborative effort promoted by Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse and CTO David Schwartz.
