President Bola Tinubu concluded a series of official engagements on Saturday, arriving in Lagos State for the Yuletide holidays after visits to Borno and Bauchi states. Upon his evening arrival, the presidential motorcade immediately proceeded to his Bordillon residence in Ikoyi.
The President's movement through Lagos significantly impacted local traffic. There was a notable restriction of vehicular movement in and around the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) and Ikoyi, leading to the closure of several roads. Motorists, for instance, were trapped for hours on Ozumba Mbadiwe inbound Falomo Bridge, further compounding the increased traffic congestion that Lagos experienced on Saturday.
