His father, veteran stuntman and action director Sham Kaushal, recently shared insights into the family's challenging past, revealing that both Vicky and his brother Sunny were born and raised in a small chawl in Mumbai. The Kaushal family initially lived in a minuscule 10x10 room, sleeping on a thin mattress, and gradually transitioned to a larger chawl before finally moving into a flat.
Sham Kaushal recounted their struggles, including owning only a second-hand motorcycle and later a second-hand Fiat car.
