Shock Arrest Rocks Nation: Lwandamina Lands in Prison

Veteran football coach George Lwandamina has officially joined Prison Leopards Football Club as their new Technical Director, signing a one-year deal. The announcement was made by the Prison Leopards media team, confirming that Lwandamina's appointment is effective immediately. The club's management expressed strong confidence in Lwandamina's capabilities, believing that his extensive experience will be instrumental in contributing to the team's success and achieving its objectives.

Lwandamina, affectionately known as 'Chicken' in football circles, recently concluded his tenure with former Ndola giants Zesco United. His departure from Zesco United occurred in September of this year, following a mutual agreement between the coach and the club. During his second spell with Zesco United, Lwandamina faced a challenging period, notably failing to defend the MTN/FAZ Super League title in the 2019/2020 season, a championship that was ultimately won by Nkana Football Club.

The seasoned trainer brings a wealth of experience from various high-profile coaching stints throughout his career. Besides his notable time at Zesco United, Lwandamina has also managed other prominent clubs, including a spell with Young Africans of Tanzania, where he achieved significant success, and Red Arrows Football Club. His proven track record and tactical acumen are expected to bring a new dimension to Prison Leopards as they look to strengthen their technical department and competitive standing in the league.
