Pop Star Wedding: Carly Rae Jepsen Weds Cole M.G.N. at Iconic Chelsea Hotel

Pop superstar Carly Rae Jepsen and music producer Cole M.G.N. have officially celebrated their wedding, exchanging vows on October 4 at the historic Chelsea Hotel in New York City. The intimate ceremony, held in the iconic building's Bard Room, was attended by approximately 100 guests, as reported by Vogue. Jepsen, 39, expressed the couple's desire for a meaningful location, noting that the Chelsea Hotel had become a "home away from home" during their visits to New York. She further highlighted its "iconic history and lore" as appealing factors for them as artists. The wedding planning process was structured to be enjoyable, with the couple dedicating weekly dates to discuss all the details, ensuring it never felt overwhelming.
Jepsen, widely known for her hit song "Call Me Maybe," confirmed the nuptials on Saturday, October 25, through her social media channels. She provided her followers with behind-the-scenes glimpses of the celebration, sharing a gallery of black-and-white snapshots taken inside the Chelsea Hotel and candid photos captured in front of NYC’s Broni & Belle Pizzeria. Her Instagram post, captioned "Thank you for this magic," resonated with fans eager to share in her personal milestone.
The singer showcased two distinct wedding looks for her special day. For the ceremony, she donned a sophisticated strapless corseted gown designed by Australian designer Toni Maticevski. Later, for the reception, Jepsen changed into a more comfortable tiered dress by Danielle Frankel. She revealed a practical reason behind her choice for the reception attire, stating, "We knew we were trying to get pregnant, so I also wanted an alternative dress that was much more flowy that I could sub in for the ceremony or just change into for dancing."
Adding a touch of unique artistry to the celebration, guests were treated to a surprise performance by acclaimed artist Rufus Wainwright. He delivered an unforgettable a cappella rendition of Leonard Cohen’s 1974 song "Chelsea Hotel #2," a fitting tribute given the venue.
The wedding follows Jepsen's announcement of her engagement to Cole M.G.N. in September 2024. She shared the joyous news on Instagram, posting photos of the couple embracing outdoors and prominently displaying her sparkling engagement ring, with the simple caption, "Very engaged over here." Beyond her personal celebrations, Jepsen is also marking a significant professional milestone: the release of the 10th anniversary deluxe edition of her 2010 album, Emotion. This special project, launched on October 17, features four brand-new songs and two remixes of her 2015 single "Run Away With Me," crafted by Kyle Shearer and Rostam.
