Omah Lay Closes Spectacular Year with Exclusive Motherland Festival Show!

Afro-fusion sensation Omah Lay is slated to headline the inaugural Motherland Festival on December 20, 2025, marking his exclusive Lagos performance during the festive season. This significant announcement follows a landmark year for the artist, who recently achieved his first Grammy nomination for his collaboration with Davido on the track “With You.” Further solidifying his success, “With You” was also confirmed as Nigeria’s most streamed song on Spotify for the year.
The co-founders of the Motherland Festival jointly expressed their enthusiasm about securing Omah Lay for the highly anticipated event. They stated their excitement that Omah Lay chose the Motherland stage for his only Lagos show this December, emphasizing that fans globally will have the opportunity to celebrate his monumental year at the heart of Afro-fusion and Afrobeats. The festival promises an unforgettable experience, featuring a stellar lineup alongside Omah Lay, including Seyi Vibez, The Cavemen, Odumodu Blvck, Qing Madi, Mavo, and DJ Obi, among others.
Scheduled to take place from December 18 to 20, the Motherland Festival aims to bring together influential thinkers, global creatives, and cultural leaders for an immersive three-day experience in Lagos. The event is proudly sponsored by First Bank and will be hosted at the Motherland Grounds, conveniently located beside the Oriental Hotel in Victoria Island. Tickets for this unique cultural celebration are now available for purchase.
