Michael Bublé's 'Christmas' Album Dominates Holiday Charts Yet Again!

Michael Bublé's enduring holiday classic, "Christmas," has once again claimed the top spot on Billboard's Top Holiday Albums chart, dated November 22. The album, originally released in 2011, has now accumulated an impressive total of 61 weeks at No. 1, underscoring its perennial popularity during the festive season.
The Top Holiday Albums chart serves as a comprehensive ranking of the 50 most popular seasonal albums in the United States each week. Its rankings are determined by multi-metric consumption, measured in equivalent album units. These units encompass various forms of engagement: traditional album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA), and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). Specifically, one equivalent album unit is tallied as either one album sale, or the sale of 10 individual tracks from an album, or 3,750 ad-supported on-demand official audio and video streams, or 1,250 paid/subscription on-demand official audio and video streams generated by songs from an album. The chart is published weekly, running through early January of 2026, before taking a break until its customary return every October for the next holiday cycle.
This week's chart also features several notable new debuts from acclaimed artists. Country star Brad Paisley makes his mark with "Snow Globe Town," which enters the Top Holiday Albums list at No. 15. This marks Paisley's second appearance on the chart, following his 2006 release "Brad Paisley Christmas," which peaked at No. 2 in January 2007. "Snow Globe Town" showcases a blend of eight newly-penned songs alongside beloved classic holiday favorites, including his renditions of “The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting On an Open Fire)” and “Jingle Bell Rock.” Beyond the holiday chart, "Snow Globe Town" also achieved positions at No. 15 on Top Album Sales, No. 14 on Top Current Album Sales, and No. 49 on Top Country Albums.
Trisha Yearwood's new offering, "Christmastime," also makes its debut, bowing at No. 36 on Top Holiday Albums. Yearwood's project features fresh interpretations of timeless classics such as “My Favorite Things,” “Pure Imagination,” and “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town.” A highlight of the album is an original track titled “Merry Christmas, Valentine,” which was co-written and performed by Yearwood in collaboration with Garth Brooks. "Christmastime" additionally secured a spot at No. 50 on the Top Current Albums chart.
Rounding out the new entries on the Top Holiday Albums chart is legendary trumpeter, composer, and record label executive Herb Alpert with "Christmas Time Is Here," debuting at No. 44. This album represents Alpert’s third holiday collection. It also landed at No. 4 on Contemporary Jazz Albums and No. 18 on the broader Jazz Albums chart. "Christmas Time Is Here" features Alpert’s unique takes on popular festive tunes like “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” “Santa Baby,” and “Winter Wonderland.” Alpert has a rich history with holiday music, with his first seasonal project, 1968’s "Christmas Album," having reached No. 1 on Billboard’s then-titled Christmas LP’s chart, and his second, 2017’s "The Christmas Wish," charting at No. 5 on Top Holiday Albums in 2017.
