Martin Freeman Stars in 'Momo,' a Sentimental Fantasy Unveiling Futuristic Threats

In 2025, an adaptation of Michael Ende’s 1973 novel “Momo” appears exceptionally relevant, given the pervasive modern pressures where the hours in a day often feel insufficient. Writer-director Christian Ditter’s glossy rendition of this fantastical story centers on the preciousness of time, introducing an enigmatic red-haired girl named Momo, portrayed by Alexa Goodall.
