Legal Titans Converge: Obasanjo, Malema Headline Massive NBA Conference in Enugu!

The 2025 Annual General Conference (AGC) of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has formally opened in Enugu, the capital of Enugu State, bringing together over 20,000 lawyers, distinguished political figures, and guests. Among the prominent attendees expected are former President Olusegun Obasanjo, who will chair the opening ceremony, and the fierce South African politician Julius Malema, slated as the keynote speaker. The conference, themed “Stand Out, Stand Tall,” is scheduled to take place at the International Conference Centre, Enugu, from August 25 to 29, with the formal opening declared on August 24.
Mazi Afam Osigwe, the NBA President, led thousands of lawyers in a health walk across Enugu's major roads as part of pre-conference activities. Speaking to newsmen, Osigwe expressed his excitement and noted that Enugu was a befitting venue for the conference. He described Enugu as the
