Hollywood Split Scandal: Nicole Kidman Reportedly 'Blindsided' by Keith Urban's New Romance

The long-standing 19-year marriage of acclaimed actress Nicole Kidman, 58, and country singer Keith Urban, 57, has reportedly come to an end, leaving fans stunned and Kidman allegedly "blindsided." The couple, who share daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14, had previously spoken openly about the strength of their union, with Urban once describing Kidman as his "spiritual other half."
News of the divorce broke this week, with sources indicating that Kidman was deeply "hurt" and felt "betrayed" by the split. Despite her efforts to save the marriage, which she reportedly "didn't want," the Hollywood star was described as being "shocked" by the turn of events. She was even spotted wearing her wedding ring just days before filing for divorce on September 30, citing "irreconcilable differences."
Court documents reveal that Keith Urban signed an extreme custody plan at the end of August, designating Nicole as the primary parent, which will limit his time with their daughters to just two months of the year. Nicole then signed the documents at the beginning of September. While their respective packed schedules were cited as a reason for their separation, reports also surfaced about Keith Urban allegedly moving on swiftly. Rumors suggest he is now involved with a "younger woman" working in the music industry, a development Nicole is reportedly finding difficult to process, especially given Keith's apparent lack of interest in reconciliation.
This heartbreaking separation marks the end of Nicole Kidman's second marriage. Her first high-profile marriage was to fellow silver screen icon Tom Cruise. The two met in 1989 while filming 'Days of Thunder' and tied the knot on Christmas Eve the following year. They welcomed two children, Isabella, 32, and Connor, 30, before announcing their divorce in early 2001, also citing "irreconcilable differences."
