Hollywood Icon Josh Brolin Announces Shocking Break From Acting!

Josh Brolin recently sat down with Collider's Perri Nemiroff to discuss his role as the ruthless executive producer Dan Killian in Edgar Wright's highly anticipated reboot of Stephen King's dystopian tale, 'The Running Man'. The film, set in a turbulent 2025 United States, portrays a society where the wealthy exploit the poor, who are then depicted as criminals and hunted down for public entertainment. The core premise revolves around desperate individuals like Ben Richards (Glen Powell), who voluntarily enter a deadly game show, 'The Running Man', facing impossible odds for a cash prize.
Brolin's character, Dan Killian, alongside Academy Award nominee Colman Domingo as host Bobby Thompson, unleashes contestants to their fates, which are broadcast live for the entire country's consumption. The star-studded cast also includes Lee Pace, Emilia Jones, Michael Cera, Katy O'Brian, and William H. Macy.
