FA Rejects Everton's Gueye Red Card Appeal, Moyes Blasts Lack of Explanation!

Everton's appeal against the red card issued to Idrissa Gueye has been rejected by The Football Association (FA), a decision confirmed by manager David Moyes, who noted that no explanation was provided for the rejection. This ruling upholds the original decision made during Everton's recent 1-0 victory over Manchester United.
The incident in question occurred early in the match at Old Trafford on Monday, when the 36-year-old midfielder, Idrissa Gueye, was shown a straight red card. The dismissal came in the 13th minute after Gueye was seen striking his own teammate, Michael Keane. Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford quickly intervened to separate the two clashing players before referee Tony Harrington brandished the red card.
As a result of the FA's decision to reject the appeal, Idrissa Gueye will now face the standard punishment for a dismissal due to violent conduct: a three-match suspension. This suspension means that Gueye will be unavailable for a crucial run of upcoming Premier League fixtures. These matches include games against Newcastle, Bournemouth, and Nottingham Forest, presenting a significant challenge for Everton's squad as they navigate these important encounters without one of their key midfielders.
