Davido Unveils Highly Anticipated '5ive Tour' Dates Across Nigeria

Afrobeats superstar Davido has officially unveiled the Nigerian leg of his highly anticipated 5ive Tour, promising to engage fans across five states from October to December 2025. The global music icon shared the exciting news on his official X (formerly Twitter) handle, detailing the tour's schedule and the deep personal significance it holds for him and his fans.
The tour is slated to commence in Akwa Ibom on October 26, 2025, before heading to Adamawa on October 29. Following these initial dates, Davido will perform in Enugu on November 1, then move to Ibadan on November 9, culminating in a grand finale in Lagos on Christmas Day, December 25, 2025. This series of concerts marks a significant return for the artist, offering a multi-city experience for his Nigerian fanbase.
Davido expressed his profound excitement about performing back home, stating, “I am blessed to perform all around the world, and everywhere I go, Nigeria goes with me. But this time, I’m bringing it home. After an unforgettable North American tour, it’s only right we bring that energy back where it all began.” He further emphasized the personal nature of the upcoming tour, describing it as a vibrant celebration of Nigerian culture and identity. “5ive Tour Nigeria, y’all ready? This one’s for the culture. This one’s personal. This one is for us,” he passionately added, highlighting his connection to his roots and his audience.
This announcement is particularly noteworthy as it represents Davido’s first multi-city concert series in Nigeria in recent years. His previous major performances in the country include a highly successful sold-out Timeless Concert at Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos, on April 25, 2023, followed by a massive stadium performance in Abuja later the same year. The upcoming 5ive Tour builds on this momentum, bringing his electrifying stage presence to more cities.
Since the revelation, social media platforms have been buzzing with anticipation, with fans eagerly looking forward to the dynamic performances and signature showmanship that have become synonymous with Davido’s artistry. As the excitement continues to mount, the "Unavailable" crooner has promised a homecoming tour unlike any other, one that will not only celebrate his remarkable journey but also honor his dedicated fans and the global ascension of the Afrobeats music genre.
