Davido Takes Center Stage: Exclusive Nigerian Act for Coachella 2026!

Coachella has officially announced its star-studded lineup for 2026, solidifying its reputation as one of the world's premier music festivals. The event is scheduled to take place over two weekends, from April 10–12 and April 17–19, at its iconic home, the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.
The festival will feature an impressive roster of headliners, including global pop sensation Justin Bieber, rising star Sabrina Carpenter, Latin music powerhouse Karol G, and electronic music visionary Anyma. These artists are set to lead the performances across both weekends, promising diverse and captivating shows for attendees.
A notable highlight of the 2026 lineup is the inclusion of Nigerian superstar Davido, who will be making his highly anticipated first-ever appearance at Coachella. As the sole Nigerian act on the bill, Davido is slated to perform on both Saturdays, April 11 and April 18, bringing his unique sound to the global stage.

Beyond the headliners and featured African talent, the lineup boasts an array of other renowned acts. Music enthusiasts can look forward to performances from rock legends The Strokes, punk icon Iggy Pop, industrial giants Nine Inch Nails (collaborating with Boys Noize), and experimental artist FKA twigs. Additionally, British Kenyan singer PinkPantheress and British Nigerian rapper Little Simz will grace the stage on Sundays, April 12 and April 19, further enriching the festival's diverse offerings.
The inclusion of such a significant number of African and diaspora artists underscores a growing trend at Coachella. In recent years, artists like Tyla, Amaarae, and Seun Kuti have brought their distinct sounds to the festival, carving out a dedicated space for African talent. The 2026 lineup continues this momentum with the prominent visibility of Davido, Little Simz, and PinkPantheress, ensuring that African music and culture will once again have a vibrant presence at this globally watched musical gathering.
