BBNaija Star Faith Reveals Massive Loan for House Entry

Former Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Faith Adewale, has publicly addressed his dramatic disqualification from the reality television show, which occurred earlier in October. In a four-minute monologue video released on his YouTube channel on Friday, the 25-year-old doctor offered an intimate look into his experience on the show, the significant challenges he encountered, and his refreshed perspective on life.
Faith, whose disqualification stemmed from a physical altercation during the BBNaija ‘10/10’ edition, commenced his video with a profoundly reflective statement, proclaiming, “Faith is dead, but before he passed on, he wanted to tell you stories that meant the world to him. So listen carefully.” He then recounted the unexpected beginning of his Big Brother journey, revealing it all started with a pivotal text message. “On March 5, 2025, I got a text message that flipped my world upside down. One click on that link and everything changed,” he explained.
He further elaborated on his state of mind prior to the show, confessing that after returning to Nigeria in December 2024, he felt a profound uncertainty regarding his future as a medical doctor. Despite these doubts, he decided to audition for Big Brother Naija. “I was pissed, like what am I going to do in this country as a doctor. But somehow, clicking that link led me to Africa’s biggest reality. I took a loan of N5million and somehow I made it,” Faith shared about his unlikely path to the show.
Reflecting on his time within the Big Brother house, Faith openly admitted to experiencing intense emotional struggles and acknowledged his imperfections. He also disclosed that he had repeatedly sought professional mental health support during his stay. “I wasn’t perfect, I made a lot of mistakes, I was overwhelmed and isolated. I requested to see a therapist more than three times because I knew I needed help,” he added, highlighting the pressures he faced.
Despite the abrupt end to his participation, Faith conveyed immense gratitude for his fanbase, recognizing their steadfast support throughout his time in the competition. “Outside those walls, a whole continent was standing for me. People I’ve never met were shouting my name and spending their hard-earned money to keep me in that house. They didn’t see perfection, they saw Faith, a flawed but passionate man,” he expressed, deeply appreciating his supporters.
Looking toward the future, the former housemate asserted that he feels revitalized and prepared to embrace new challenges. Faith concluded his emotional video with a resolute declaration to both his supporters and the entertainment industry. “This is Faith Adewale, the dreamer, the doctor, the creator, the entertainer, your latest reality TV star. I’m ready to make magic with you all,” he affirmed, signaling his readiness for what lies ahead.
