XRP Price Explodes: First Bullish Surge Since September Ignites Market Hope

XRP is showing the first signs of buyer strength since September, trading near $1.31 after a daily gain, following a significant drop in October. The $1.25 to $1.30 range is acting as support, but critical resistance lies ahead at $1.33 and $1.37-$1.38. The next few days will determine if this is a true reversal or a brief pause.

XRP Price Explodes: First Bullish Surge Since September Ignites Market Hope

XRP has recently shown its first significant sign of buyer strength since September, trading near $1.31 after a notable daily gain. This comes after a challenging October, where the token experienced a consistent decline, falling from the $1.55 region to a low around $1.25. The appearance of a green daily candle and a subsequent upward movement suggests a potential shift in market sentiment.

The current bounce, though modest, holds considerable importance. For several weeks leading up to this point, any attempt by XRP to rally was quickly met with selling pressure, resulting in a dominance of red candles and a series of lower highs. The recent green close, following a sharp decline, indicates that sellers are beginning to slow down at the current price levels.

The price region between $1.25 and $1.30 appears to be establishing itself as a crucial support zone. XRP touched this area and swiftly rebounded, leaving an extended lower wick on the daily candle. This wick is a strong indicator that buyers have stepped in aggressively to absorb the selling pressure. Historically, this same area proved to be a robust support in September, preceding a significant rally that pushed XRP to $1.65.

Looking ahead, XRP faces its immediate resistance test at the orange moving average, positioned just above the current price, close to $1.33. A daily close above this level is essential to confirm that the current bounce possesses genuine strength and is not merely a transient fluctuation. Beyond this, a more formidable resistance cluster lies between $1.37 and $1.38, where multiple moving averages converge. This region proved difficult to sustain above during the last price drop.

From a technical indicator standpoint, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) is hovering around 40. While this reading is considered weak, it is not yet in the oversold territory. This suggests that there is still room for upward movement if buyers manage to maintain control and momentum. However, a critical factor to note is the current low trading volume. For a sustained and robust recovery, a significant increase in volume on green trading days will be necessary.

For bullish traders, the primary objective is a daily close above $1.33. Achieving this could open the path toward further targets at $1.38, and subsequently, $1.45. Conversely, if XRP fails to hold the $1.25 support level, the current bounce would be invalidated, potentially leading to a price drop toward $1.20 or even lower. Although the overarching trend is still leaning bearish, the recent bullish signal is the first in several weeks. The performance of XRP over the next couple of daily candles will be crucial in determining whether this marks a true reversal or merely a temporary pause in the prevailing downtrend.
