Sopranos Shocker! Michael Imperioli Claims Characters Would Be Trump Supporters

Michael Imperioli, known for his role as Christopher Moltisanti in the acclaimed HBO crime drama “The Sopranos,” recently shared his perspective on how the show’s characters might align politically if the series were produced in today's climate. Imperioli highlighted that a major thematic element for a contemporary version of “The Sopranos” would involve the current political atmosphere in the U.S. and its implications for immigrants. “The Sopranos” aired for six seasons on HBO from 1999 to 2007, comprising 86 episodes, with Imperioli appearing in all of them. Widely regarded as one of television’s greatest dramas, the series garnered 21 Emmy Awards during its run, including three Best Actor awards for the late James Gandolfini, who portrayed the lead character Tony Soprano. Imperioli himself received four Emmy nominations for his supporting role, winning once.
