Lokomotiv Kuban (VTB United League) agreed terms with 29-year old American point guard Jeremiah Martin (189cm-81kg-1996, college: Memphis, agency: Slash Sports) for the upcoming 2025-26 season. He played last season at Uralmash. In 39 VTB United League games in Russia, he had very impressive stats: 17.8ppg, 3.2rpg, 4.7apg, and 2.0spg. He helped them to make it to the quarterfinals. Good season as he was named League Player of the Week (2 times) and named to Eurobasket.com VTB United League Second Team. His team won the Russian Cup in 2025.
During the summer of 2024, he played for Aftershocks (Wichita State Alumni) in the U.S. semi-pro league The Basketball Tournament.
Martin has played professionally in six different countries on three different continents, including Australia, Germany, and Poland. He has also played in the NBA G League and The Basketball Tournament.
He was voted to the VTB United League All-Star Game in 2024.
Martin graduated from the University of Memphis in 2019 and it will be his seventh season as a professional player. His team won the Russian Cup in 2025.
