GKS Tychy (1Liga) signed 22-year-old 207cm power forward Mikolaj Adamczak for the upcoming season. He spent the last three years at Slask-Wroclaw/57">Slask in the Polish OBL league. OBL proved to be a bit too challenging for him, as in one game he failed to score and only managed 1 rebound and 1 block. The 1Liga will be a better fit for him, offering more playing time. Although he played 1 game in the Basketball Champions League, he did not score. Adamczak also had a stint with another Polish team, Slask, earlier in the season.
He represented Poland at the World University Games in Chengdu (China) two years ago. During this event, he scored an average of 2.6 ppg and had 4.4 rpg.
Adamczak has played for four other teams before: GTK, GTK Gliwice 2nd team, Zabrze, and GTK.
His team won the Polish League Regular Season in 2023.
