Derby adds Turner to their roster, ex Anwil - July 5, 2025

SC Derby Podgorica (Erste Liga) added to their roster 27-year old American guard Justin Turner (193cm-93kg-1998, college: BGSU) for season 2025-26. Turner played last season at Anwil in Polish OBL league. In 35 games he recorded 11.2ppg, 2.2rpg and 2.1apg. He helped them to win the regular season and make it to the semifinals. Turner also played 12 games in FIBA Europe Cup where he averaged 12.1ppg, 2.8rpg, 3.0apg and 2.1spg.
The most of previous (2023-24) season he spent at Club Ourense Baloncesto in Spanish Primera FEB. In 21 games he had 14.3ppg, 2.4rpg and 3.0apg in that year. He also spent pre-season at Gold in NBA G League.
In 2021 he was drafted by Westchester Knicks (G-League) as #4 pick overall.
Turner graduated from Bowling Green State University and it will be his fifth season in pro basketball.
He is quite experienced player. Turner has played also professionally in other USA team, NBA Summer League (Detroit Pistons) and NBA G League (Motor City Cruise).
He was voted All-MAC Co-Freshman of the Year back in 2018.
