Speaking toWariko said her dad drives a matatu for the Enabled Shuttle Sacco and has been in the industry for 23 years now.
In a sweet video with her lookalike dad, Wariko is seen smiling like the Cheshire cat while explaining that he always leaves one seat empty for her in the evenings and never allows anyone in so that he can personally ferry her home.
A netizen who saw the video said that he is also in college, and whenever he sees his dad driving a matatu on their route, it excites him, and he always runs to say hi to his dad.

According to Wariko, her dad takes care of them through his hard work and dedication, and they have never lacked.
"Dad took care of our family, ensuring we had the basics and a few luxuries; he supported my mum, my brother Mesh, and the entire family," she said.
"Apart from the matatu business, he also ventured into farming, growing bananas, maize, and beans. Personally, this extra effort helped him sustain us and send me school; I finally graduated," she added.
Although Wariko's dad has been driving matatus for 23 years, there is always the risk of thieves attacking him while he comes from work late or while leaving early in the morning.
"Dad, I’m working hard to be your breadwinner ❤️big up to you…I’m proud of you," she said.
A netizen identified as Njeri also shared that her father used to be a driver too and plied the Town- Rongai-Kiserian route.
" On Christmas holidays we used to travel upcountry every December 24," she shared.
"We used to carry people from tao all the way to Mwea and I was the conductor. He retired last year though😊" said Njeri.

A TikTok video showed the sweet daddy-daughter moment. A traffic cop told that it was risky behaviour, obstructing other road users, and could have potentially caused an accident.
Social media users rained praises on the driver for loving his daughter, with some expressing admiration for his dedication while others criticised him.
