On April 5, the matatu crew of Benson and conductor Telvo was stunned after learning that Viola Nekesa was having breathing problems and was in distress.

Instead of just continuing with the journey or dropping her to an unknown fate, they graciously diverted mid-route to Nairobi West Hospital. They also stayed with her until she was stabilised and taken to another hospital.

In another touching gesture, the two later visited Nekesa in the hospital again.

"We had to reverse because we had already passed the hospital," said Telvo.
"Kindness costs nothing, if we hadn't been kind we would have lost her," he added .

William Mutua Kanzwii was on his way from Nairobi when he heard the plight of the woman, and that is when he made the fast decision to divert to the famous Lari Level 4 hospital

Netizens were impressed by the driver's actions, and some appreciated him with some cash.
