Bet9ja Foundation Celebrates Milestone with 200+ Projects

The Bet9ja Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Nigeria’s leading sports betting company, is dedicated to building stronger, more resilient communities across Nigeria. Since its launch in July 2023, the Foundation has executed 206 projects across 33 states and the Federal Capital Territory, positively impacting over 65,000 Nigerians, especially in the South West, South South, and South East geopolitical zones.
As part of its “Bigger Space, Bigger Impact” campaign, the Foundation hosted a media engagement at its newly commissioned office in CashCraft Tower, Yaba, Lagos. This event showcased the new office space, provided partners with a first-hand experience of the facility, and highlighted the Foundation’s vision for deeper community engagement and broader impact. Executive Director Ada Cuomo reaffirmed the Foundation’s commitment to sustainable interventions in education, healthcare, community infrastructure, sports development, and youth empowerment, ensuring that each project delivers lasting value tailored to the unique needs of each host community.
The Bet9ja Foundation has awarded 100 undergraduate scholarships to students in public universities from financially disadvantaged backgrounds. Healthcare interventions include medical outreaches and donations of vital health equipment to underserved communities. Community infrastructure projects feature solar-powered streetlights and water supply systems, improving safety and hygiene in many rural areas.
The Foundation’s impact in the South West (110 projects), South South (28 projects), and South East (26 projects) includes free health missions, education drives, community renovations, and youth-focused programs. Across Nigeria, the Foundation supports sports by equipping teams like the Nigerian Para-Powerlifting squad and promoting grassroots tournaments. Youth empowerment is driven by initiatives such as the Graduate Employability and Enterprise Summit and the Young Executive Program, which deliver digital and entrepreneurial training.
Collaboration with local NGOs and strategic deployment of Agents of Change ensure community-driven and impactful projects. A rigorous monitoring and evaluation framework is in place to track outcomes and ensure accountability. The Foundation aims to extend its reach to all 36 states within the next year and invites community members to submit proposals for support, reinforcing its mission to leave no one behind.
The Bet9ja Foundation is dedicated to creating a legacy of opportunity and inclusion for Nigerians through its growing footprint, transparent processes, and people-first philosophy, demonstrating that real change happens when purpose meets action.
