Mum of 9 by 4 Dads at 27 Plans 10th Child, Defies 'ATM' Trolls

A 27-year-old mother from the US, Whittney Dawn, has garnered significant attention and sparked debate after revealing her desire to have a tenth child, despite already having nine. Whittney, who had her first child at the age of 16, has reportedly had a child almost every year since, fulfilling her long-held wish for a large family. She is a mother to Brandon, 10, Kinley, 9, Namaya, 8, Dawson, 7, twins Cambriella and Camden, 5, Octavia, 4, Liam, 3, and two-month-old Kyus.

Her journey to motherhood has involved four different partners. Whittney's second partner embraced her eldest daughter, Brandon, as his own, and together they had three children. Following that relationship, she had twins with a third partner. She has since found stability with her current husband, William, who is her fourth partner and the biological father of three of her children. Whittney expressed that William fully supports her large family, stating, "William loved the fact that I had so many kids. It was so nice being able to see somebody love my kids as his own. He was an amazing dad from day one."

Despite the positive dynamic within her immediate family, Whittney's lifestyle has attracted considerable scrutiny and negative comments on her social media platforms. Critics have bombarded her with remarks such as "keep my legs closed" or questions about her knowledge of birth control, and accusations of "popping out babies like you're popping money from an ATM." Undeterred by the backlash, Whittney firmly stated her stance against her detractors, responding with "Make me."

While her own family members have cautioned her against having more children, Whittney remains unready to cease expanding her family. She acknowledges that she will eventually stop having children but is unsure when that day will come. The YouTube video featuring her story rapidly went viral, accumulating over 11,000 views and prompting a wave of diverse opinions in the comments section.

Many viewers expressed concern, with comments ranging from worrying about her ability to provide equal attention to each child, to the potential for older children to become "parentified." Others raised practical issues such as the family's living space, with one commenter noting, "Feel bad for those kids. Stuffed into that little house." Financial support was also a common theme, with a user stating, "wanting a big family is great as long as you can support them all financially." Some comments were more direct, such as "Two kids is enough" or critical of her having "Four different baby daddies... That's nothing to brag about." These reactions highlight the societal debate surrounding large families, parental responsibilities, and the judgment faced by individuals whose choices diverge from conventional norms.
