Global Stage: Rema, Davido, Burna Boy & Ayra Starr Represent Nigeria on FIFA World Cup 2026 Album!

Nigerian music is set to make a significant global impact with the upcoming release of the Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Album. This ambitious project, described by FIFA as the most extensive multi-track music initiative ever created for a World Cup, features an impressive lineup of both international and Nigerian artists. The album is scheduled to drop on June 5, 2026, and boasts a full 18-track list, offering a diverse musical experience.

Four prominent Nigerian musicians have secured spots on this highly anticipated album. Burna Boy's collaboration with Shakira, "Dai Dai," has already been captivating audiences since its release on May 15. This track serves as the official song of the tournament and the theme for the FIFA Education Fund, with notable songwriting credits including Ed Sheeran. The music video for "Dai Dai" also features Uganda’s Ghetto Kids, adding another layer of cultural fusion.

Rema contributes to the album with "Goals," a dynamic collaboration alongside Thai rapper and singer Lisa and Brazilian singer Anitta. Released on May 21, "Goals" skillfully blends Afrobeats, K-pop, and Latin pop, showcasing a vibrant cross-genre appeal that has already started "doing numbers."

Further strengthening Nigeria's representation, Davido features on "No Place Like Home," where he joins forces with electronic music collective Major Lazer and Canadian pop icon Nelly Furtado. Ayra Starr completes the Nigerian quartet with her track "Show Me," a collaboration with American rapper Latto, promising another exciting fusion of talent.

Beyond the Nigerian stars, the album features a stellar array of global artists, including Future and Tyla, Stormzy, legendary rock band The Rolling Stones, Daddy Yankee, and 21 Savage. With its wide-ranging collaborations and genres, the Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Album is poised to be a landmark musical event for the tournament. The album is available for pre-save across all major streaming platforms, with its full release on June 5, 2026.
