Blue Finch Films has officially joined forces with the Norwegian psychological horror film "You've Been Chosen" as its worldwide sales agent. This new collaboration will see the film presented at the prestigious Frontières Proof of Concept showcase, an integral part of the Cannes Film Festival and the leading genre-focused co-production and pitch market that runs annually alongside the Cannes Film Market.

Written and directed by Viljar Bøe, "You've Been Chosen" delves into the life of Fredrik, whose existence takes a dark turn upon receiving mysterious, anonymous letters. These letters contain instructions that promise rewards for obedience and exact punishment for any resistance. As Fredrik finds himself increasingly entangled in this brutal system, he is forced to confront profound questions about his own free will and the true price of belonging. The film explores potent themes such as loneliness, the subtle yet powerful grip of psychological control, and the compelling allure of structure in an otherwise isolated life.

This deal marks a significant third partnership between Blue Finch Films and director Viljar Bøe. Their previous collaborations, "Good Boy" and "Above the Knee," both garnered critical acclaim during their respective festival circuits and release periods, establishing a strong track record for their joint ventures. The production of "You've Been Chosen" is spearheaded by Bøe himself, alongside Anders Fløysand and Arne Dahr, under their production company, Sleazemania!. Contributing as executive producers are Evrim Ersoy, Mike Chapman, and Fatima Hayward.
