Exclusive 'I Swear' Screening in Scotland: Grab Your Free Tickets!

Movie enthusiasts are invited to an exclusive early screening of the highly anticipated film “I Swear,” ahead of its general release on October 10th. This special opportunity allows viewers to experience what critics are already hailing as “unmissable, uplifting and funny.”

The exclusive early screening events will take place on Tuesday, September 30th, 2025. Audiences can choose from several prominent cinema locations across Scotland, including Odeon cinemas in Kilmarnock, Braehead, Glasgow, and Edinburgh Lothian Road. Additionally, Cineworld locations in Dundee and Aberdeen Union Square will also host these special previews.

“I Swear” tells the powerful and moving true story of John Davidson, a dedicated Tourette syndrome campaigner. The film chronicles his challenging journey with Tourettes through his troubled teenage years and into early adulthood. Diagnosed at the age of 15 in 1980s Britain, a period when the condition was largely unknown and profoundly misunderstood, John initially faced significant alienation from both his peers and his family. The narrative highlights how an extraordinary and transformative friendship, coupled with John’s unwavering optimism, ultimately turned his life around, making for an uplifting, funny, and deeply heartfelt cinematic experience.

To secure free tickets for these exclusive screenings, interested individuals must visit a designated booking link and select their preferred cinema location. After clicking “book now,” users need to enter their email address and confirm their details to receive a valid booking number. It is essential to either print off the tickets or display them on a mobile device to gain entry to the cinema on the day of the film preview.

Prospective attendees should be aware of the comprehensive terms and conditions governing these free tickets. Tickets are strictly subject to availability and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis via the Booking Website. Successful claimants must print or display their email with a valid booking number for entry at the specified time. It is crucial to note that possession of a ticket does not guarantee entry, as a standard overbooking policy is in place to account for no-shows or potential changes in screen size. In such instances, entry will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis at the door. Ticket holders are not permitted to hold spaces for guests, and entry will only be granted once all guests have arrived.

A maximum of two tickets are redeemable per user, unless explicitly stated otherwise. See Film First Ltd reserves the right to revoke tickets without notice if this maximum is exceeded. There is no cash alternative for the tickets, and late admittance will not be permitted. Cinemas retain the right to refuse admission, and in the event of any dispute, the cinema manager’s decision is final. Should a film preview be cancelled, changed, or relocated without prior notice, or if it is overbooked, See Film First Ltd may, at its sole discretion, allocate tickets to the next available See Film First Ltd film preview in the nearest cinema, with no compensation (financial or otherwise) provided.

Recording equipment, including sound and video recording devices or photography equipment, is strictly prohibited in the auditorium and may be confiscated upon entry. Each film is subject to specific age restrictions, which are indicated during the booking process if known. It is the user’s responsibility to confirm these restrictions directly with the cinema. Tickets are for the sole use of the individual user; emailing, distributing, sharing personal login details, passwords, photocopying, or multiple printing of tickets is strictly prohibited, and violations may result in users being barred from the Booking Website. Under no circumstances may tickets be resold for financial or any other material gain.

Young children and babies are admitted to U and PG certificate films at the discretion of the cinema manager, provided they are accompanied by an adult, do not cause a disturbance, and possess their own ticket. In cases where young children and their guardians are ejected, no refund will be issued. Tickets must be booked no later than 23:59 on the day before the film preview date. See Film First Ltd will send transactional communications exclusively via email or SMS, unless users actively opt-in for invitations, offers, and promotions. Transactional communications directly relate to website actions or booked events and include booking confirmations, ballot entries, waiting list confirmations, reminders, ticket cancellations, password resets, feedback requests, and event information updates. Free tickets remain the property of The Promoter at all times. The Promoter reserves the right to revoke all tickets and ban future access if there is reason to believe tickets were acquired by unfair means, such as hacking, attacking the system, or duplicating/doctoring valid tickets. Furthermore, The Promoter reserves the right to revoke or cancel tickets at any time and is not liable for any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly from the user’s use of the website. For any issues, users should contact [email protected].
