ENHYPEN Soars to Billboard 200 Summit with Historic First No. 1 Album!

The Billboard 200 chart, dated September 5, 2026, sees ENHYPEN claim its first No. 1 album with "THE SIN : BLISS." The set debuted atop the ranking, earning 98,000 equivalent album units in the United States during its first week, which concluded on August 27, according to Luminate. This achievement marks ENHYPEN’s seventh entry into the top 10 since 2022, surpassing their previous high of No. 2, which they reached twice with "THE SIN : VANISH" in January and "ROMANCE : UNTOLD" in 2024. The significant first-week success of "THE SIN : BLISS" was predominantly driven by album sales, comprising 92,000 units, leading it to debut at No. 1 on the Top Album Sales chart. Streaming Equivalent Album (SEA) units contributed 6,000, reflecting 6.91 million on-demand official streams, while Track Equivalent Album (TEA) units made up a negligible sum. The album's strong sales performance can be attributed to its release across more than 30 CD and vinyl variants, each containing collectible items such as photocards, stickers, and posters, with some items randomized to enhance collector appeal.

Concurrently, the chart also recognizes the enduring legacy of Dolly Parton, who passed away on August 25. Her greatest hits collection, "Ultimate Dolly Parton," re-entered the chart at No. 5, marking her fourth top 10-charted album and her second-highest-charted album ever. Parton, who died at age 80 after a short battle with cancer, previously achieved top 10 success with the all-star collaborations project "Rockstar" (No. 3 in 2023, her highest-charted album), "Blue Smoke" (No. 6 in 2014), and the collaborative album "Trio" (No. 6 in 1987) alongside Linda Ronstadt and Emmylou Harris. "Ultimate Dolly Parton," originally released in 2003 and peaking at No. 112 in 2019, had not been on the chart since 2020 until its recent re-entry. In the August 21-27 tracking week, which reflected less than three days of impact following the announcement of Parton’s death, the album garnered 59,000 equivalent album units, a substantial increase from the previous week, largely propelled by the streaming activity of its songs. The 20-track collection features beloved Parton favorites such as "Jolene," "I Will Always Love You," "Here You Come Again," "9 to 5," and "Islands In the Stream" (with Kenny Rogers). For chart calculation purposes, if songs are shared across an artist’s albums, their SEA and TEA are assigned to the album that sells the most pure album copies in a given week, and in the latest tracking week, "Ultimate Dolly Parton" was her best-selling album with 7,000 copies sold.

KATSEYE’s "WILD" fell from No. 1 to No. 6 in its second week, earning 55,000 equivalent album units. Noah Kahan’s "The Great Divide" remained stable at No. 7 with 54,000 units. Stray Kids’ "THIS & THAT" dropped from No. 3 to No. 8 with 48,000 units, while Drake’s "ICEMAN" held its ground at No. 9 with 41,000 units. Ariana Grande’s "Petal" completed the top 10, slipping from No. 8 to No. 10 with 41,000 units. Also moving up in the top five were Ella Langley’s "Dandelion," rising from No. 5 to No. 2 with 70,000 units, Olivia Rodrigo’s "you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love" climbing from No. 4 to No. 3 with 67,000 units, and Morgan Wallen’s "I’m the Problem" moving from No. 6 to No. 4 with 63,000 units.
