Eaux Claires Rises Again! Bon Iver's Festival Returns After 8-Year Hiatus with Star-Studded Lineup

Bon Iver's renowned Eaux Claires Festival is set to make its highly anticipated return this summer after an eight-year hiatus. Curated by Bon Iver mastermind Justin Vernon, the festival will establish its new home in Carson Park in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and run for two days from July 24-25, promising a star-studded and eclectic lineup.

The festival's headliners include Bon Dylan, a special performance featuring founder Justin Vernon playing Bob Dylan covers, alongside Dijon, Daniel Caesar, and Lil Yachty. Music enthusiasts can also look forward to Aimee Mann performing her celebrated 2000 album, "Bachelor No. 2," which includes tracks like "How Am I Different," "Deathly," and "Nothing Is Good Enough." The diverse roster of artists further extends to performances by Hotline TNT, Kevin Morby, Gash, Gully Boys, Nathan & the Zydeco Cha Chas, and many other notable acts.

Beyond the musical performances, this year's Eaux Claires Festival introduces its inaugural class of "Writers in Residence." This unique program will bring together some of the literary world’s most intriguing figures for readings, discussions, and collaborations. Featured scribes include Michael Perry, Sheila Heti, Hala Alyan, Sean Thor Conroe, Kyle Seibel, Amanda Petrusich, Jon Mueller, Nicholas Gulig, Harold Rogers, Mike Nagel, Benjamin Percy, and Nishant Jain.

Adding to the festival experience, the debut of "Eaux Claires Days" promises special shows and events to take place around Eau Claire during the days and nights surrounding the main weekend. The full programming schedule for these additional events is expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.

Ticketing information has also been released, with Eau Claire locals receiving the first opportunity to secure tickets. Special access codes are available in-person at various local restaurants and small businesses. A fan pre-sale for specially priced tickets will commence at 10 a.m. ET on Friday (February 13), followed by all remaining tickets going on sale at noon the following day.

The Eaux Claires Festival was originally co-founded by Justin Vernon and The National guitarist Aaron Dessner. It previously ran from 2015 to 2018, featuring a wide array of genres from classic rock, indie, country, to R&B/hip-hop acts. Past performers included legendary artists such as Paul Simon, Chance the Rapper, Lizzo, Wilco, Erykah Badu, The National, Pussy Riot, Kevin Morby, Spoon, James Blake, Sturgill Simpson, and Vince Staples, highlighting its history of diverse and influential lineups.
