Bon Iver Revives Eaux Claires: Festival Makes Triumphant Comeback After Hiatus

Eaux Claires Festival, the celebrated event founded by Justin Vernon of Bon Iver, is officially returning this summer after an eight-year break.
The festival will take place over two days, July 24–25, at Carson Park in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, marking a new chapter for the beloved gathering.
This year’s lineup is led by Bon Dylan, a special project featuring Vernon performing Bob Dylan covers, alongside major acts including Dijon, Daniel Caesar, and Lil Yachty.
The bill also features Aimee Mann, who will perform her acclaimed 2000 album Bachelor No. 2, as well as Kevin Morby, Hotline TNT, Gully Boys, Nathan & the Zydeco Cha Chas, and many more.
Expanding beyond music, the festival will debut its first-ever Writers in Residence program.
The initiative brings together notable literary voices for readings and discussions, including Michael Perry, Sheila Heti, Hala Alyan, Amanda Petrusich, Benjamin Percy, and Nishant Jain, among others.
Organizers have also announced Eaux Claires Days, a new series of satellite shows and events happening around Eau Claire before and after the main festival weekend.
Full details for these events are expected soon.
Ticket sales begin with early access for Eau Claire locals via special codes available at select local businesses.
A fan pre-sale starts at 10 a.m. ET on Friday, February 13, with general ticket sales opening at noon the following day.
Originally co-founded by Vernon and Aaron Dessner, the festival previously ran from 2015 to 2018 and built a reputation for genre-spanning lineups.
Past performers have included Paul Simon, Chance the Rapper, Lizzo, Wilco, Erykah Badu, The National, James Blake, Sturgill Simpson, and Vince Staples—cementing Eaux Claires as one of the most creatively ambitious festivals of its era.
