Controversial Mom of 9 at 27 Plans Tenth Child, Defies 'ATM' Trolls

Whittney Dawn, a 27-year-old mother from the US, has garnered significant attention and sparked outrage after revealing her desire to have a tenth child, despite already having nine children with four different fathers. Dawn first became pregnant at the age of 16 and has since had a child almost every year, fulfilling her long-standing wish for a large family.

Her children include Brandon (10), Kinley (9), Namaya (8), Dawson (7), twins Cambriella and Camden (5), Octavia (4), Liam (3), and Kyus (two months old). Whittney's journey to motherhood involved multiple relationships. Her second partner adopted her eldest daughter, Brandon, and they went on to have three children together. Following that relationship, she had twins with another man. Currently, Whittney is settled with her fourth partner and husband, William, with whom she shares three biological children and plans to have another.

William, according to Whittney, was supportive of her large family from the outset, loving her children as his own and proving to be an 'amazing dad from day one'. This mutual desire for a large family fuels their plans for expansion. However, their decision has not been met without controversy, particularly on social media where Whittney shares her life.

She acknowledges a significant amount of negative comments, with critics often telling her to 'keep my legs closed' or questioning her knowledge of birth control. Some comments provocatively ask, 'Why are you popping out babies like you're popping money from an ATM?' Despite the online backlash and even warnings from her own family against having another child, Whittney remains defiant, stating, 'Make me' in response to her detractors. She admits she believes she will eventually stop having children but doesn't know when that day will come.

A YouTube video featuring Whittney's story went viral, accumulating over 11,000 views and prompting a flurry of comments. Viewers expressed concerns ranging from the potential lack of individual attention for each child, to the living conditions in what was described as a 'little house'. Others questioned the financial feasibility of supporting such a large family, with one user stating, 'I mean wanting a big family is great as long as you can support them all financially.' The fact that she has four different 'baby daddies' also drew critical remarks, with one person commenting, 'Four different baby daddies... That's nothing to brag about.' Despite the criticism, Whittney and William appear unfazed, committed to their large and growing family.
