US Mother With Nine Kids From Four Fathers Plans to Expand Family Again

Whittney Dawn, a 27-year-old mother from the US with nine children from four different fathers, has ignited controversy by expressing her desire to have a tenth child. Dawn, who had her first child at 16, has reportedly had a child almost every year since, fulfilling her long-held wish for a large family. Her current children include Brandon, 10, Kinley, 9, Namaya, 8, Dawson, 7, twins Cambriella and Camden, 5, Octavia, 4, Liam, 3, and Kyus, who is two months old.

Her journey to a large family involved several relationships. Her second partner embraced her eldest daughter, Brandon, as his own, and they went on to have three children together. After that relationship ended, she had twins with another man. Currently, Whittney has settled down with her fourth partner and husband, William. The couple shares three biological children and aspires to expand their family further. Whittney highlighted William's immediate acceptance and love for her existing children, stating, "He was an amazing dad from day one."

Despite her happiness, Whittney faces significant backlash on her social media platforms, including comments urging her to use birth control or questioning her ability to financially support so many children. To such critics, she defiantly responds with "Make me." Her own family has cautioned her against having more children, but Whittney maintains that she is not yet ready to stop, saying, "I do think I will stop having children one day, but I don't know when that day will be."

A viral YouTube video featuring her story garnered over 11,000 views and a flood of public comments. Reactions included concerns about her capacity to provide equal attention to each child, fears of older children becoming "parentified," and worries about their living conditions. Other commenters questioned the financial implications of such a large family and criticized the concept of having children with multiple fathers, with one remarking, "Four different baby daddies... That's nothing to brag about."
