Coachella Shocker: Anyma's Epic Performance Axed by Unrelenting Winds!

Dance music sensation Anyma's highly anticipated performance at Coachella 2026, scheduled to close out the main Coachella Stage on Friday of Weekend One, was unfortunately cancelled approximately 15 minutes after its midnight slot. The decision was jointly made by Coachella organizers and Anyma, citing "strong winds affecting Anyma’s stage build" as the primary reason, with attendee safety prioritized above all else. This last-minute cancellation left many fans disappointed, particularly as the show was intended to be the global debut of ÆDEN, Anyma’s ambitious new production.
Following the announcement displayed on the stage’s screens, Anyma personally conveyed his regret in a comment on Coachella’s Instagram post. He stated, "I’m sorry everyone. We’ve done everything in our control to build the show I’ve worked an entire year on. Safety always comes first and we’re working on a solution now." Despite some musical equipment and props appearing to be set on the main stage, the adverse wind conditions evidently had a unique impact on Anyma's specific setup, as other scheduled performances across the festival grounds, including Gordo at the Yuma Tent, Sexyy Red in the Sahara Tent, and Blood Orange at the Mojave, proceeded without interruption during the same timeframe.
The cancellation prompted crowds gathered for Anyma to disperse, with many diverting their attention to these concurrent acts or making their way towards the festival exits. The much-anticipated ÆDEN debut would have followed Anyma’s successful late 2024/early 2025 residency at Sphere Las Vegas, where the Italian American artist first unveiled his acclaimed audiovisual spectacle, The End of Genesys. Fans who have followed Anyma’s recent singles and music videos, such as the Joji collaboration “Beautiful” and the LISA collaboration “Bad Angel,” would have anticipated an aesthetic rich with motifs of ancient ruins and cyborg angels, elements that define his new artistic era. Despite this setback, Anyma remains scheduled to perform during the second weekend of the Coachella festival.
