SJ Belangel and the Daegu KOGAS Pegasus would not go down without a fight, forcing a winner-take-all decider in the Korean Basketball League (KBL) quarterfinals on Friday.

The former Gilas Pilipinas guard was instrumental in their 79-75 victory over Suwon KT Sonicboom at Daegu Gymnasium to take the best-of-five series to the limit.

Belangel uncorked 19 points and five assists, as the home side lived to fight another day.

Daegu also got solid contributions from Andrew Nicholson, who got a near-double-double of 19 points and nine boards, and Kim Nak-hyeon who got 18 points from three triples.

JD Cagulangan went scoreless anew for Suwon and only had two steals and one dime in 10 minutes of play.
