The 2026 Volvo XC60 T8 PHEV is a luxury compact SUV that’s practical and fun to drive. This plug-in hybrid is quick, handles smoothly, and has plenty of cargo space., but stylish and refined, it gives you both comfort and excitement on the road.

The XC60 T8 is a plug-in hybrid that’s both strong and efficient. It has an 18.8 kWh battery and a 2.0-liter turbo engine.

The front wheels are powered by the engine and a small motor, while a bigger electric motor drives the rear wheels and can run the car on electricity alone.

While the brakes performed effectively in hard-stop tests, bringing the SUV from 60 to 0 mph in a respectable 118 feet, they exhibited a soft feel underfoot, particularly at lower speeds.

This characteristic is possibly attributed to the vehicle’s regenerative braking system.
