The 'R' designation, a first for a Shelby Super Snake, signifies a significantly elevated performance standard, drawing inspiration from the original 1967 Super Snake built for high-speed racetrack endeavors.

At the heart of the Super Snake-R is a supercharged 5.0-liter Coyote V8 engine, boosting the Dark Horse's standard 500 horsepower to an astounding 850+ horsepower on 93-octane fuel.
