Unshakeable Power: Yahaya Bello Declares Tinubu's Unbeatable Path to 2027

Former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has unequivocally stated that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu cannot be unseated in the 2027 general election. Speaking in Lokoja on Saturday at the Muhamadu Buhari Civic Centre, during an event focused on endorsing both President Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Ododo of Kogi State for their respective second terms, Bello emphasized the importance of Nigerians appreciating a president dedicated to national progress.
According to Bello, President Tinubu has demonstrated commendable leadership since assuming office, particularly in his efforts to stabilize the nation's economy. He advised any political aspirants eyeing the presidency to abandon their ambitions and instead offer their full support to President Tinubu in the upcoming general election. Bello declared, "Today, we are endorsing President Tinubu and Alhaji Ahmed Ododo for a second term. They have done well, and they are still doing well and will continue to do more for the state and the nation as far as the people of Kogi State are concerned."
He further added, "So far, we are having a stable economy, and Mr President will not relent in his effort to tackle any issue that will affect his administration. I call on the people of Nigeria to stand up and support Mr President so that he can move the nation forward. Any merger against President Tinubu by the opposition will never work, it will not work, and it has failed already. Nobody can unseat Tinubu in 2027." Bello also urged the citizens of Kogi State to consistently support Governor Ododo's administration, asserting that the governor's second term is assured.
In his address, Governor Ahmed Ododo reciprocated the strong support by pledging 99 percent of Kogi State's votes to President Tinubu in the forthcoming general election. He reassured the President, stating that Kogi State belongs to him and its people would turn out in large numbers to cast their votes. Ododo expressed gratitude to President Tinubu for numerous federal appointments granted to the people of the state, indicating that such goodwill would be reciprocated when the time comes. He also lauded the President's efforts in enhancing national security.
Governor Ododo highlighted the achievements of his administration since taking office, affirming that it has delivered dividends of democracy to the people of Kogi State. He listed various ongoing projects, including extensive road construction across the state, the establishment of primary healthcare centres, the renovation of both primary and secondary schools, and the provision of potable drinking water for communities. He promised to initiate even more projects before the conclusion of his first tenure. The endorsement event was graced by several prominent political figures, including Senator Smart Adeyemi, other senators, members of the House of Representatives, the Kogi State House of Assembly, and former speaker Prince Matthew Kolawole, among others.
