Tinubu's 2027 Re-Election Bid: New Group Throws Support Behind Incumbent

A newly formed support group, CG Musa 4 PBAT,has declared its support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

The group’s Director-General, Barr. Babakura Waziri, announced the endorsement in a statement issued in Jos, saying the organisation would engage in grassroots mobilisation and public awareness campaigns across the country.

According to Waziri, the group comprises members from different backgrounds and was established to promote awareness of the policies and programmes of the Tinubu administration.

He said the movement draws inspiration from retired General Christopher Musa, whose leadership, he noted, influenced the formation of the group.

Waziri further elaborated that the movement draws significant inspiration from the leadership qualities of retired General Christopher Musa, whose influence was instrumental in the group's formation and direction.

The decision to back President Tinubu's ambition for a second term is rooted in several critical factors, as identified by Waziri.

These include the administration’s impactful economic reforms, its dedicated efforts towards enhancing national security, various youth-focused programmes designed to empower the younger generation, and significant progress in infrastructure development across the country.

These achievements, the group believes, underscore the President's commitment to national progress.

Adding to the group's perspective, Usman Saleh Hassan, the Director of Publicity for CG Musa 4 PBAT, highlighted President Tinubu’s approach to governance and leadership through his appointments.

Hassan referenced the political philosopher Niccolò Machiavelli, noting that the caliber of a leader's appointees often serves as a direct reflection of their judgment.

He emphasized that several of the President’s appointments demonstrate a clear preference for experienced and capable officials, aligning with the Machiavellian principle.

As political preparations for the upcoming 2027 general elections intensify, CG Musa 4 PBAT has stated its firm intention to expand its activities significantly.

The group plans to reach various parts of the country, ensuring its message of support and awareness for the Tinubu administration's policies resonates broadly with the electorate.
