Tammy Abraham's Shock £11.2M Besiktas Move Leads to Aston Villa Rumours

Footballer Tammy Abraham is set to return to England, with Aston Villa agreeing an £18 million deal for the striker from Turkish Super Lig side Besiktas. Abraham underwent a medical on Saturday after traveling to the UK on Friday.
Besiktas had recently fulfilled their obligation to permanently sign Abraham from AS Roma, paying £11.2 million (13 million euros) to the Serie A club. This obligation stemmed from a loan deal that took Abraham to Besiktas last summer. Despite their reluctance to sell, Besiktas is allowing Abraham to transfer back to England.
During his time at Besiktas, the 26-year-old striker, who has earned 11 caps for England, scored 12 goals in 24 appearances. Prior to his move to Turkey, Abraham joined Roma from Chelsea in 2021 for £34 million. He had a successful spell in Serie A, netting 39 goals in 120 games for Roma and contributing to their Europa Conference League victory in 2022.
He also spent the 2024-25 season on loan at AC Milan, where he scored 10 times in 44 appearances before his move to Besiktas.
